Dear RPM Management,

I have owned property in the greater Houston area for almost a decade. During that time, I have used several property management companies. RPM took over the management of ten of my units in early 2009. I initially transferred the management of these units (located in near the airport) to RPM following a year of mismanagement by another firm. Not only did this transfer demand a significant amount of transition time, it necessitated working through the bad management decisions that preceded the transfer.

The prior management had filled the units with tenants who were either unwilling or unable to pay rents and maintain the property. This mismanagement resulted in significant loss of income, unnecessary vacancies and unhappy tenants. RPM evaluated the situation, made recommendations and then worked with me to develop a plan for getting ... AND KEEPING ... my units filled and operating profitably. Not only am I happier ... but my tenants are also happier.

I was so pleased with the progress made on these properties that I transferred the management of my remaining Texas properties to RPM. Central Dallas Community Development Corporation has used Real Property Management as property managers for two of our properties located in Dallas, Texas for over three years.

Beginning with our first project, Gaston Commons, an eleven unit affordable housing complex in East Dallas near Baylor Hospital, we found RPM highly motivated and receptive to our needs.  While focused in getting this challenging project to a positive cash flow endeavor, they were aware of all aspects of our requirements to meet not only our prerequisites but those of the City and County of Dallas, as well as the State of Texas.
